So I went to a fashion networking event on Thursday the 7th October 2010 hosted by a company entitled Fashion Insight.  Having been a blogger since last year, my first blog was purely about affordable fashion vs that of current trends on the catwalk…Being a student it will be a while before I and others can self indulge in the designer clobber, so I used to find key pieces that were within a University student budget! I got talking to a few people on the evening, some wanting to hook up with bloggers to promote their business and some wanting to promote their own blogs. As much as I love fashion, this blog is by far my fave and my priority! I am all for TeamUK as you know, and I found a gap in the market and seized it! I love writing and blogging is something I really love doing… anyway,…I promoted my blog hard @ the event and was able to meet the gorge @PrinceCassius pictured alongside above @ the event…Love his style!so on point n chic! check out his blog too http://princecassius.blogspot.com/ The event helped to show me how important and easily comfortable I found networking. Im always smiling-so its no surprise that Im grinning bare teeth as usual!LOOOOL… This was taken at Molton House when I went to see Amber Rose. This is Cherri @ the very start of the night, smiling and merry… Thats Vokda and Cranberry (1 of my five a day?PMSL!)…Cherri n Vodka=A GIGGLY MON!LMAO The main reason I uploaded this pic however was NOT to promote the act of drinking alcohol!looool… As you can see,I recently had a microdermal implant piercing put in my wrist….and I love em!-AND want MOREEEEE!!!! When my mum saw she smiled and shook her head and said “Lawd Gawd” (Patois!PMSL)…”Whhhyy Monique!” I just burst out laughing and then proceeded to show her the one in my neck!Pahahahahaha…. I had to have a pink Gem and the piercing was so affordable=£27!!! a steal when you think about the fact that a well known department store quoted me £55 for my wrist alone! (OUCH!!!! and thats just my reaction to the price!looool) The neck hurt more than the wrist, but I would and am so going back for more! Ive seen a girl at my uni with one under her eye. It looks cool,but I dont think thats a go go area-when you want yo get rid of them,they have to be cut out-and you could be left with a rather unecessary scar!… Think about what and where your gonna get pierced up-but im already bored of my two and am ready for more! *big grin!* Kisses and Pink Love, Cherri X
